A: Angar is a Vancouver, Canada-based exotic fruit importer and distributor committed to quality products, timely delivery, and customer satisfaction. We source the freshest exotic fruits from Latin America, primarily from Colombia but also Costa Rica, Guatemala, Panama, Mexico, Ecuador, and Peru among others, and deliver them to your shop anywhere in Canada and several other countries.

Since 2014, we specialize in exclusive outsourcing services, contracting directly with farmlands in Latin America to provide a full range of logistics and supply chain solutions from point of origin all the way to final destination as exclusive procurement agents for companies in Canada.

 

Q: What types of fruits does Angar import?

A: Angar imports a wide variety of exotic fruit, including Mangosteens of various sizes, sugar mangoes, yellow and purple passion fruit, yellow dragon fruit, palm fruit, golden berries and more! Contact us for a full list of products.

 

Q: How does Angar ensure the quality of their fruits?

A: At Angar, we are committed to providing only the freshest and highest-quality fruits sourced from fair trade and sustainable farms with an average turn-around of 3-4 days from order time to delivery to your door. That's why we partner with carefully selected growers in Colombia to ensure strict quality control processes are in place.

 

Q: Does Angar offer any guarantees?

A: Yes, at Angar, we guarantee the freshness and quality of our fruits and our commitment to timely delivery. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your order, such as the fruit does not look “saleable”, we offer timely returns to ensure your complete satisfaction.

 

Q: How does Angar handle shipping and delivery?

A: Angar has a streamlined shipping process to ensure timely delivery of our fruit. We partner with reliable air carriers in Latin America, USA, Canada and EU to ensure absolute temperature control during the whole transportation process.

 

Q: What is Angar's commitment to sustainability?

A: At Angar, we are committed to sustainability and minimizing our impact on the environment. We work with our growers to implement sustainable farming practices and ensure that our packaging is eco-friendly. This is why ANGAR is a proud member of FAIR TRADE and we are also GAP (Good Agricultural Practices) certified.

Q: What are your minimum orders?

A: most our fruit comes packaged in boxes ranging from 1.5 to 3Kg, with 2Kg being the most popular. Such packaging is "supermarket ready" so you can simple place on display on your store's floor and start selling as soon as we deliver. 

​

Other formats of shipping volumes are also available on demand, such as the 15Kg mangosteen box which contains 1Lb mesh bags of fruit, so you may sell by the pound as soon as we deliver. 

​

All our shipments come in properly assembled pallets, ranging from 120 to 180 boxes mostly. Our minimum order is therefore 1 pallet of any one fruit to be delivered whole to a single point of destination, from the Richmond International Airport (YVR - Vancouver) to your location. We can organize temperature-controlled delivery for you if necessary.
